新专辑充分反映了久石让作曲的多元性和跨越近40年的杰出职业生涯，包括他与著名电影制作人宫崎骏、导演北野武以及吉卜力工作室合作的结晶，《千与千寻》《龙猫》《哈尔的移动城堡》等。
《梦之歌：久石让精选》收录了久石让代表作，例如One Summer’s Day（千与千寻）、My Neighbour TOTORO（龙猫）、PRINCESS MONONOKE（幽灵公主）。以及《悬崖上的金鱼姬》《红猪》和久石让钢琴独奏作品《乡愁》《生命的风》。
